ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am an artist and educator for whom art has always been more than a subject—it’s been a calling. This path led me to complete my Master’s in Fine Arts and has now guided me into the profound field of Art Therapy, where I am currently pursuing my Doctorate. Alongside my own practice, I have spent over four years teaching, an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of what art education could be. My core philosophy rests on a simple but vital distinction: technical skill and true artistry are not the same. Many can learn to draw or paint accurately—to replicate what they see.
This is a valuable skill, but it is the craft, not yet the heart. An artist, in my view, emerges when one moves beyond replication to creation. It is the moment you begin to translate your inner world—your emotions, perspectives, and unique voice—onto the canvas. That is the transformation from a skilled hand to an artistic soul. Witnessing how traditional lessons often stop at technique, leaving a student's innate creativity untapped, inspired me to act.
I founded Vincens Fine Arts with a clear purpose: to create a space where the creative spark is not just taught, but kindled. My approach is to mentor students in finding their own visual language while building their skills. Furthermore, I believe art should be a democratic joy—neither a luxury nor an exclusive pursuit. A core part of my mission is to make learning art genuinely affordable and to create works that are accessible, allowing everyone to experience the joy of owning and cherishing original art.
